Charles Lutwidge Dodgson (Lewis Carroll) was born in 1832 and attended college at Oxford in 1851, which became his home till the time of his death. The college would be where he wrote, taught, and studied. He loved children and struck up a friendship with Alice, the daughter of Rev. Liddell, Dean of Christ Church. He loved to entertain Alice and the other children and would tell of the strange adventures of "Alice" and thus was born Alice in Wonderland followed by Through The Looking Glass. This book is the classic and loved tale of Alice going down the rabbit hole for adventures grand and glorious.
