This is a very good and handsome hardcover issued by International Collectors Library, Garden City NY. This is not a True First Edition which would be 1924, this is a handsome reprint especially designed for Collectors Library. The hardcover is bound in richly grained blue with leaf and acorn design stamped in gold. It has an ornate design front and spine with top edges burnished in gold and a silk ribbon attached marker. Inside the pages are very clean, no marks, writing etc seen. Binding is tight and straight as new. Only very light natural tanning to pages from age. Barely a hint of shelf wear to cover front or back.
This book was a Pulitzer Prize winner in 1925. The story follows the life of a young school teacher in farming country. The title stems from her child and the questions of "how big is baby?" baby is "So Big". It is a tale of the wisdom of a mother, the foolishness of of money and the realizations that often come to us too late in life.
