Includes 8 page black and white photo spread. Binding tight and straight no creasing along spine. Cover good, light shelf wear from display but very clean.
The seed of the book is King's "Letter from Birmingham Jail" which became nationally know. King began work on the book in late 1963. It describes the beginning of the revolution and describes historical events that led up to this revolution and explain whey the revolution was nonviolent. The book was an important part of the effort to make the civil rights movement struggle known to national audiences. Wonderful addition to any history or civil rights library.
